Most tails will be made from faux fur, so if you have any allergies to materials which can be found in them you will need to spend some extra time finding the right fur. Length will be a bit more of a personal preference. Longer tails might look and feel more fun, but they can restrict your movement in some ways so it’s good to have an idea of when you’re going to use your plug before you buy.

People interested in roleplay have a lot more to think about. The most obvious consideration is which animal you plan on taking the role of. For some role players this is the single thought, such as they want to be a cat or bunny rabbit. For other’s it’s much more detailed. Some people take their role much more seriously, so the tails are very specifically chosen. Depending on the backstory or breed of your animal, you might want a very specific design of tail.

Tails can vary in length anywhere from only a couple of inches right up to eighteen inches or longer. They can be one solid colour, or have stripes and spots along the surface, just like a real animal tail. Or you can be completely out there and get a tail in a fluorescent colour simply to show off.
